GIV Showcase!
The fun stuff I learned!
We made a Mini-CroGolf Course!
Governer's Institutes of Vermont has been such a fun experience for me. I made a
lot of friends and learned a lot of neat things that I'm
really excited about. One of my favorite parts is the mini golf/croquet we're still in the process of making.
It's
really cool!
We started the design process by making really really quick sketches and sharing them among our little group.
Then
we chose the best ideas and morphed them into one initial (tiny) paper model.
A few days later, the real prototyping process began, using cardboard and real materials. Our idea was to make a
bridge and hill, with trees and a hole at the end that requires a little skill to get in just right. We're still
adding the polishing details!

Balloon Tower design challenge.
One of the first things we did when we came to GIV was a balloon tower design challenge. In this challenge, your prechosen group was required to build the tallest tower possible... using only duct tape and balloons. That's it. I thought we did a great job, but somehow we placed 9th out of 10. Ah well. It was really fun anyway!
Romeo, Romeo. Where art thou Romeo.
Originally known as Hawaiian Shirt Kid, Ronan/Romeo (as we have come to call him) caught the eyes of many of us kids, and many of us would snap pictures of him in the auditorium and send them in the Discord channel. It was hilarious.

Jacob ❤️ (and Grant in the background LOL)
John is quite the character.
Romeo and Griffin acting out Romeo and Juliet.
Satan. It's an inside joke lol.
Champlain College has lots of rabbits. So cute!
Scout painted Jacob's fingernails black. So emo 🖤
Guess which one I am.
